ABOUT ME

I am a Mindset and Positive Psychology Coach, Consultant and Trainer.

I have had always had a keen interest in personal growth and professional development. The way in which people behave and form positive habits, leading to successful living has been at the forefront of my personal interests.

Having dealt with a period of prolonged personal stress and anxiety, the reflection of my own life naturally led me onto the path of pursuing a Master of Science in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. I was so enthralled by this experience that I was hungry for more! I wanted to further my knowledge and experience, and so I trained as a Mindfulness and Meditation teacher to bring greater depth and calmness to coaching conversations.

Having worked in the public sector for 16 years and been a mid-level manager at 2 Higher Education institutions, I have a breadth of experience of different roles, in different settings and understand the challenges faced by individuals and organisations alike. Having led a number of teams, Minal has a sound understanding of what strong leadership entails, as well as the emotional and mental skills required to motivate, coach, manage, lead and develop a team of individuals.
As a qualified Coach, I integrate the use of evidence-based Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, and my own personal and professional journey into my work. I strive to help individuals lead more purposeful, balanced, joyful and rewarding lives; And to help organisations embed positive change, leadership and wellness initiatives in order to create a workforce that is emotionally intelligent, confident and resilient.

Wanting to embed positive psychology in the wider community and wanting to support its accessibility, I have also used my skills, knowledge, and experience to facilitate wellbeing workshops with St. Mungo’s, a homeless charity whose key purpose is to end homelessness and rebuild lives.
